Tom Yellin

Executive Producer

As co-founder and president of The Documentary Group, Tom Yellin has overseen all productions since the company’s inception in 2006. Previously, Tom was president and executive producer of PJ Productions and spent many years as an executive producer at ABC News, where he created the award-winning Peter Jennings Reportingseries. His programs have won numerous broadcast and journalism awards, including the Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia University Award, the George Foster Peabody Award, the News Emmy Award and the Polk Award. Tom graduated from Harvard College.


Holly Gordon

Holly Gordon

Executive Director

Prior to joining TDG, Holly Gordon was Director of Content for the Tribeca Film Festival, where she managed video collection and production for the 2007 Festival. She was the executive producer of Tribeca Presents: The Best of the Festival, a broadcast highlighting the award-winning films in the 2008 Festival. Before her tenure at the Tribeca Film Festival, Holly spent 12 years at ABC News, where she worked as a producer and booker for the major news broadcasts: World News Tonight with Peter Jennings, Good Morning America, 20/20 and Primetime. She was an integral part of ABC’s breaking-news coverage during the weeks following the September 11th attacks. For three years, as Editorial Producer for the ABC News magazine unit, Holly managed the team responsible for identifying and booking national and international stories. Holly graduated from Brown University with a BA in International Relations.


Richard Robbins

Richard E. Robbins

Director

Richard E. Robbins is an award-winning documentary director, writer, and producer. His most recent documentary, Operation Homecoming: Writing the Wartime Experience, about soldiers returning from Iraq, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2008. After several years at ABC News and PBS, Richard joined Peter Jennings’ documentary unit at ABC News, and directed the critically acclaimed ABC series The Century. His documentary work for ABC took him around the country and the globe, from the mountains of Kashmir interviewing Al-Qaeda militants, to the press plane of the 2000 Bush campaign, to the back of an LAPD squad car patrolling Watts. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter and son.


Kayce Jennings

Executive Vice President of TDG

Before co-founding The Documentary Group, Kayce was a producer at ABC News for 20 years, covering international and national news events for virtually every news division broadcast, and was on the staffs of Nightline, World News Tonight and 20/20. She works closely with non-profit organizations including Teach for America and Concern Worldwide, and serves on the boards of Women in Need, and The Peter Jennings Project for Journalists and the Constitution.


Christina Lowery

Christina Lowery

Project Director and Supervising Producer

Christina brings broad experience as an independent documentary producer and production manager, having produced and overseen programs for PBS, ABC, CNN, A&E, and The History Channel. Prior to working on 10×10, she was in charge of development and operations for The Documentary Group. She graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Comparative Literature and holds an M.S. in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and two children.


Martha Adams

Martha Adams

Producer

Martha Adams is a producer with more than 15 years of experience producing award-winning films and television documentaries. Her most recent project is Playground, a feature documentary executive-produced by George Clooney, about child trafficking in the United States. Martha’s team was the first non-government film crew allowed to shoot inside the CIA, and the first crew to crack the National Reconnaissance Office’s classified satellite espionage program. A passionate storyteller, she has survived car bombs in Jerusalem and cartel violence in Colombia. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children.


Tara Abrahams

Tara Abrahams

Director of 10×10 Action Campaign

Prior to joining the 10x10team, Tara served as director of the Maverick Capital Foundation, a philanthropy focused on education in New York City. Tara began her career in the nonprofit sector as the founding New York director of Health Leads, an organization that mobilizes undergraduate volunteers to improve the health of low-income children and families. Tara has served as a consultant for The Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit strategy consulting firm, and as a managing director at Acelero Learning, a company that works with Head Start programs to improve early childhood education for low-income children. Tara graduated from Harvard College and completed her MBA at the Harvard Business School. She lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.

Catherine Geanuracos

Digital Strategy and Social Media Consultant

Catherine Geanuracos leverages technology and media to create global movements that respond to the most urgent social and political issues of our time. She created global campaigns on climate change and water for Live Earth, developed innovative political engagement technology for MoveOn.org, was the founding CTO for MomsRising.org, and helped Saban Brands create a comprehensive kids’ fitness campaign for the Power Rangers. She advises companies and organizations including CicLAvia, Zimride, and Social Media Week on how to engage people in campaigns that matter.
